~~goodfoot~~badfoot~~
Thursday, October 15th, 2009right up the street from my house is the famed good foot bad foot sign
the superstition goes – that if you pass by the rotating sign and see the bad foot your day skating is doomed and
probably gonna get hurt so in turn if the good foot is what you see then a good day shredding is coming up

so i went ahead and got a tattoo of the good foot with extra lucky horseshoe to ward off the evil bad foot spirits
henceforth banishing the bad foot from my skating endeavors

SQIDS

the giant squid is pretty sweet. Once believed to be a mythical creature, they are actually a deep ocean dwelling animal that can grow to a tremendous size: recent estimates put the maximum size at 13 metres (43ft). there have been claims reported of specimens of up to 20 metres (66ft) but no animals of such size have been scientifically documentedOn september, 30th 2004 some japanese research guys took the first images of the giant squid in its natural habitat
Heres an illustration from the original “Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea” depicting a giant squid
The most striking feature of the Architheutis duxis (giant squid) is its long, torpedo-shaped body, with 10 tentacles, two of which extend longer than the rest. It has a strong beak, similar to a parrot’s and large round eyes.
When the cone shaped squid head sticks out of the water with its tentacles deployed, it might look like a serpent head and tail from a distance. Also a single tentacle with a club of suckers on the end might look like the head and neck of a Pleisosaur. The Kraken of legend is probably what we know today as the giant squid. While a colossal octopus might also fit the description, the squid is thought to be much more aggressive and more likely to come to the surface.
Though giant squids are considerably less then a mile and a half across, they are large enough to wrestle with a sperm whale
…..well theres some shit about squids, as you can tell i am pretty hyped on squids.
